Malacañang Leads Oath Taking Ceremony of NCSC Directors

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin administered the oath-taking ceremony of 15 newly-appointed Regional Directors of the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) on Thursday, 11 September 2025, at the Malacañan Palace.
NCSC Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mary Jean P. Loreche and Commissioner Enriqueta R. Rodeles were present to witness the event, signifying the Commission's commitment to strengthen NCSC's regional operations.
Newly-appointed Regional Directors who took their oath of office are as follows:
1. Atty. Luz L. Balisong - Regional Office CAR
2. LtCol. August Anthony N. Balute, PhD - Regional Office NCR
3. Atty. Glaiza Bernadeth P. Pinto-Tadeo - Regional Office I
4. Dulceneah Lyra F. Dela Cruz - Regional Office II
5. Emmanuel E. Daez - Regional Office III
6. Joselito F. Dela Cruz - Regional Office CALABARZON
7. Atty. Edwin L. Dimatatac, MD - Regional Office MIMAROPA
8. Atty. Ma. Clarissa Lavena B. Pacamarra - Regional Office V
9. Ann Rapunzel O. Ganzon - Regional Office VI
10. Jocelyn O. Tabotabo - Regional Office VII
11. Antonio R. Dolaota - Regional Office VIII
12. Fernando D. Sumondong, PhD - Regional Office IX
13. Mary Jean H. Asum - Regional Office X
14. Cesar A. Adegue IV, PhD - Regional Office XI
15. Rochelle G. Oco, MD - Regional Office XII
Director Ana Marie C. Calapit, Acting Executive Director IV and concurrent Director IV of the Administrative and Finance Service, also took her oath alongside Regional Directors.
This undertaking led by the Palace marks a significant milestone for the NCSC as it strengthens the institution and administrative competence of the Regional Offices accross the country.
Created under Republic Act No. 11350, the NCSC is mandated to promote the rights and benefits of senior citizens and to formulate and implement policies, plans, and programs that advance senior citizens' welfare. ■
