Official Statement of the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) On the Dismissal of Commission Member IV Reymar Mansilungan




The National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) wishes to address recent reports circulating on social media and other media platforms regarding the dismissal of Comm. Reymar Mansilungan from his position as Commission Member IV meted out by the Office of the President.


Pending receipt of formal written communication, the NCSC recognizes the authority of the Office of the President and remains committed in upholding the rule of law in accordance with the principles of good governance. 


We assure all stakeholders—particularly the older persons we are mandated to protect and empower pursuant to Republic Act No. 11350—that the Commission’s operations, programs, and services will continue without disruption. Under the leadership of the remaining Commissioners and executive officials, we remain steadfast in delivering quality service and pursuing our goals for an age-inclusive society.


We thank the public for its continued confidence and support as we fulfill our responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and a deep respect for the dignity and rights of senior citizens across the nation.
